Czech Business Services Sector 2025: Growth Through Technology and Value

The Czech business services sector continues to grow steadily, employing 200 000 professionals in 2025 and expected to reach 215 000 in 2026. However, growth is no longer defined by headcount alone. The sector is shifting decisively toward value creation, digital capability, and higher service maturity.

Centers are deepening their digital transformation, with AI now at the forefront. While Robotic Process Automation remains widely deployed, organizations are moving from scaling bot volumes to building integrated, intelligence-driven ecosystems. Generative AI is increasingly used for process automation, data analysis, and customer interaction, signaling a strategic reset in how automation creates business impact.

Service maturity continues to rise, with the majority of processes delivered at advanced or partner level. Knowledge-based activities now dominate, reflecting the sector's evolution into a strategic delivery hub for global organizations.

At the same time, skills gaps are widening - particularly in technology, automation, programming, and advanced analytics. Hiring plans reflect this shift, with strong demand for AI/ML engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity analysts, and digital transformation leaders. Upskilling and internal capability building are becoming urgent priorities.

Workforce stability has improved, with declining attrition and longer employee retention. Hybrid work models are now the norm, balancing flexibility with collaboration, while ESG is increasingly embedded across diversity, governance, and sustainability agendas.

Overall, the Czech business services sector is entering a new phase of maturity: digitally ambitious, strategically integrated, and focused not on scaling volume - but on scaling value.
